We offer center-Based SERVICES in the Orlando AREA.

Getting started with our ABA services is straightforward. Begin with an intake phone call where we gather initial information about your child and their needs. Next, we'll review your insurance eligibility and documents, followed by an in-person consultation to tour our office and discuss services and availability. After conducting an assessment, we develop a tailored treatment plan and get insurance authorization. Finally, once authorized, we can start therapy!

Our support team is always available to assist you at any point in the process.

During the initial assessment, the BCBA will be evaluating challenging behaviors to target for reduction as well as learning skills deficits to target in acquisition.

Assessments

  • Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) will help identify significant challenging behaviors and why they are happening to create an individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) to reduce the problem behaviors and replace them with more appropriate ones.

  • Skill Assessment (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK) will help determine strengths and weakness in different areas of learning to create individualized goals to promote independence and improve functioning.

Skill Acquisition

  • 1:1 ABA Therapy relates to direct services between your child and RBT. ABA Therapy can be provided in a comprehensive treatment (25-40 hours a week) or in a focused treatment (10-25 hours a week). Skills taught can range from academic, social language, independent living, and community, as well as targeting behavior management.

  • Academic Skills targets deficits in foundational skills regarding academic subjects to improve school performance. Areas to teach include math, reading, and writing.

  • Social Skills Training focuses on increasing social awareness and interactions with peers to improve skills, such as sharing, playing, taking turns, and conversation.

  • Communication and Language Development targets improving functional communication to express needs and wants, as well as increase receptive and expressive language. Teaching modalities include verbal behavior imitation, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and Speech Generated Devices. We can also collaborate with speech and language therapy to ensure streamlined program.

  • Independent Living Skills teaches adaptive skills for the future, including laundry, getting dressed, cooking, grooming, and bathing.

  • Community Integration Skills focuses on integrating and generalizing skills (such as shopping, taking public transportation, community knowledge, and money) in community settings.

  • Feeding Therapy addresses food selectivity and refusal, as well as behaviors surrounding meal time to improve eating habits and incorporate new foods.

  • Toilet Training teaches your child to leave the diapers behind and end accidents. We can teach your child to become independent in requesting bathroom and completing bathroom routine.
